Components:
- Outline (typed)- due April 28
- Written (typed) research paper- due May 6
- Visuals for presentation- due day of presentation- May 11, 12, & 13
- Oral presentation- May 11, 12, & 13

Process for research paper:
- at least 7 different sources (varied; cannot be all internet unless pre-approved)
- note card and source card check
1. 3 source cards/20 note cards- Wednesday, April 20
2. 5 source cards/40 note cards- Friday, April 22
3. 7 source cards/60 note cards- Wednesday, April 27
* note cards should be cross referenced to source cards (e.g., Note 15 from Source 2)
* note cards should be organized by topics (use headings) and include short phrases, words, statistics, and ideas; no complete sentences!
* some note cards may have one key idea, while others may include three or four bullets
- length- at least 10 well-developed paragraphs including introduction and conclusion
- appendix- some type of graph to show historic data about salary
- works cited- correct MLA formatting
